February is a personal ‘toxic month’. Nothing comes close to this month in terms of deadlines, field trips, activities, etc…
I twice visited Mount Banahaw (Dolores, Quezon) this month (February 3 and 10) for the scheduled exposure trips of my classes in P.I. 100 (The Life and Works of Jose Rizal). Immediately after my second Mount Banahaw trip, I was in Cagayan de Oro last February 9 for another seminar workshop. It was a ‘first flight in, last flight out’ journey (via PAL). I arrived in CDO around 6:30 am, proceeded to the venue, talked and talked and talked, ate lunch, handled a workshop, ended my talk about 2:30 pm, then back again at the airport. Finally, after years and years of long wait, the Realtors are now returning to the PBA Finals for just the third time in franchise history. The two semi-final series pitting four teams were grueling and pulsating. Both series went down to the finish: winners advance to the Finals; losers go home and prepare for the next conference. What an exciting finish…
I just hope the Realtors have enough gas to survive and defeat the rampaging Hotdogs. Emotions are high, adrenalines are pumping. Surely, we’ve waited long enough to get the Big One…
